A Radish

From our garden.

Did you cut the greens yourself or did a "friendly" animal do it for you? Something has been eating my radishes' greens. The vegetable itself is intact though :-)

Allo Mélodie!

I tore it off... There are some earwigs that eat at the greens though. And something completely ate my dill. again.

All the dill ? Weird. I always thought that plants or herbs with strong scent repulsed "beasts". Guess not dill! In my yard, the beasts in question are rabbits and they eat my "lupins" and my "spirées". I don't really mind because that way, they leave my vegetable patches alone :-)

I just wanted to note that I love your blog... last night, our entire three-course meal was inspired by it (including your chicken burgers and your strawberry upside down cake). I own a house in Ottawa and will eventually be back, but am currently living in Budapest. Cheers! (http://nice-weather-for-ducks.blogspot.com/)

J'aimerais ça ! Je pars aujourd'hui pour le Portugal et l'Écosse !! Mais je reviens le 12 juillet. Qui sait ce qui sera arrivé à mon jardin entre-temps... :-)
